Welcome to the Hesketh Colts JFC Under 12s girls page
A little about us
A warm welcome and thank you for showing interest in our club and being part of the Hesketh Colts family. We are proud to be an FA Community Charter Standard Development Club. We are based in Southport and train once a week at Stanley High School. Currently both our under 12s girls teams play in the Hightown league every Sunday morning. When the players attend our coaching sessions, parents and players have complete peace of mind that all coaches promote the fun aspect of learning football. Our coaches are all FA CRB checked, first aid qualified and have FA qualifications in coaching football.
We have grown this year to two teams, with the new team 'Blues' developing really well, have also registered in the development league and have won a couple of games already. The original team, 'Reds' have progressed and achieved 2nd in the top tier development league so far and are always one of the top teams. Both teams are currently competing in the cup competition relative to their current league tier.
How donations benefit us
Running a football club at grassroots level is difficult. Even providing football kits and training resources can be a struggle. We are a club that go with the ethos that football should be fun for all children and the girls should always have the opportunity to develop and play competitively.
There are however many expenses connected with running the club and we rely for funding solely on our own fundraising events and the support of local businesses. As you would expect the major expense for the club is costs of pitches, kits, balls, training gear and the cost of entering tournaments.
We were hoping that this might be something you would consider helping us with.
In return for your donation
We would of course be willing to display your company logo on our club flag and for you to be listed as one of our sponsors on all our team literature. Our matches are also well attended by local parents and an increasing number of spectators from the local community.
We also travel to compete in local tournaments, where we display our club flag at our 'Meeting Point'. There may also be the opportunity for other promotions as we often have social events for all the kids in the club which are attended by many people.
What are the benefits
- The main benefit for donations is that it helps to support a local grassroots football club and helping girls to enjoy and play football.
- Businesses get good publicity and create valuable goodwill
- Play your part in the developing and extremely popular girls football scene
